JAMB Set to Announce 2024 UTME Results This Monday

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is gearing up to release the results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to a recent announcement from the board, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will host a press briefing in Abuja on Monday to discuss the release of the results and other pertinent details.

The board’s Head of Public Relations, Fabian Benjamin, confirmed on Sunday that the results for candidates who participated in the initial days of the UTME will be made available on Monday. Results for other candidates will follow shortly after a comprehensive due diligence process is completed to ensure accuracy and fairness.

This year’s UTME, which began on April 19 and concludes today, saw participation from over 1.9 million candidates across more than 700 Computer-Based Test centers nationwide. The delay in releasing the results, as explained by JAMB officials, is to allow sufficient time for the thorough review of all test outcomes. This rigorous scrutiny aims to uphold the integrity of the examination process and to address any issues such as impersonation or mixed biometrics, thereby preventing malpractice.

As students eagerly await their results, JAMB assures that the measures taken are in the best interest of maintaining a credible and fair assessment for all involved.
