Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has expressed his support for Chief Agboola Ajayi following his win in the party's primary election for the upcoming Ondo State governorship race. In a statement released by his media adviser, Paul Ibe, Atiku commended the decision of the PDP stakeholders to nominate Ajayi as the party's candidate.
Atiku praised the primary process, highlighting its non-controversial nature and the unity it demonstrated within the party. "The decision to nominate Chief Agboola Ajayi is a testament to the PDP's solid strategy aimed at expanding our governance across more states," he remarked.
